With an aperture range from f/2.5 to f/22, the Soft FocusII optic from Lensbaby is a new-and-improved versionof one of the earliest and, recently, most sought-afteroptics in Lensbaby’s Optic Swap System, the original SoftFocus optic. Compatible with all of Lensbaby’scurrent and legacy Optic Swap lens bodies, the SoftFocus II improves on its predecessor by adding a12-blade manually adjustable internal aperture to it’s unique and versatile drop-in magnetic aperture system.
Lensbaby has created a new optic, the Soft Focus II, that does exactly that. The SFII has a focal length of about 50mm and an aperture range of 2.5-22. The wider the aperture, the more gentle focus effect you will get. Conversely, if you stop it down, there won’t be any blur or glow at all. This optic is a manual focus, so you control what you feature in your shot.
