The RF Prime series of cinema lenses from Canon has been designed for outstanding optical performance rendering crisp images with natural, rich contrast. This series includes seven lenses, ideal for shooting 8K as well as HDR, and represent Canon’s first cinema lenses to have a native RF mount. This lens series ushers in the RF lens communication to fully manual cinema glass, ideal for shooting with RF-mount cameras including third-party cameras that utilize a native RF mount.
The new ExpoDisc v3 is their latest effort at making the fastest, most accurate white balance tool we can. The new diffusion materials they incorporated into ExpoDisc v3 perform better across the visible spectrum (380-700nm), providing better white balance results when shooting in cool open shade or very warm light. The new ExpoDisc v3 design is thinner than the ExpoDisc 2.0. The ExpoDisc v3 can be comfortably held over lenses 82mm or smaller, and it also incorporates a new bayonet mount allowing it to be quickly attached and removed from your lens using the included ExpoDisc v3 bayonet mount step ring.
