This ProMaster 62mm Basis VND filter reduces the amount of light entering your lens between 2 and 8 stops to help you control exposure. Reducing light to control exposure is the job of a neutral density (ND) filter. A variable neutral density filter (VND) replaces numerous ND filters by allowing you to change the amount of light it holds back with a simple twist of its ring. A ProMaster Basis VND filter can reduce light by as little as 2 f-stops or as much as 8. And it can be adjusted to any amount in between these values.
