The cyanotype process was conceived by Sir John Herschel in 1842 and the formula has remained essentially unchanged until today. It is a non-toxic simple approach to making prints by laying a negative over treated paper and exposing it to the sun. Sufficient capacity for up to 100 A4 sized sheets. Water color paper or cotton cloth are both excellent mediums for cyanotype printing. Cyanotypes can be toned to different colors after being bleached. Toners can be tea, coffee, wine or any other tannic acid rich liquid.
