The DLC Rain Cover is made of a lightweight waterproof material featuring hook and loop fasteners and a draw string closure. Included is a clear vinyl window for the camera's LCD screen which is secured behind the camera's eyepiece allowing for an unobstructed view of the image being photographed both in the viewfinder and on the LCD screen.
This protective cover actually has several functions. It can help protect the camera from moisture via the waterproof fabric as well as cold due to the padding. Additionally, the padding works to dampen the noise of the camera when shooting in situations where it is important for the photographer to as quiet as possible.
