Revolutionary Auto Leveling System

Benro first designed the one-key auto leveling function on Theta. Combined with the special zero position design of the ball head, Theta can quickly make the camera reach the level state automatically. In addition, if the optional Optical Matrix Sensor Module is installed on the camera's hot shoe, auto level adjustment will be made directly based on the camera.

Theta has solved the biggest problem of traditional tripods in decades and brought real convenience to photographers.

Compact & Strength

The trigonous central column is the key to the whole structural design. The original circular contour is divided into three equal parts and concave inward to form three inner arcs which accommodate three cylinder tube legs to achieve seamless fit. The circumference after the concave remains unchanged, maintaining the original support strength

There have already been several tripods with unique structural designs on the market that reduce storage space, such as the commonly used flat tube. Theta still uses cylinder tubes to ensure robustness.

Zero waste of storage space

Theta skillfully realizes seamless packing down through this unique combination of cylinder tube legs and trigonous center column, achieving zero space waste and minimizing the pack down size. You can easily grab it with one hand.

Dual Multi-functional Ball head

Theta is equipped with a dual panoramic ball head, which can both meet the needs of photography and video filming. In addition to 360 degree rotation in any direction, it can also lock the pan and tilt axes separately for video shooting.

Auto-Lock QR Ring

Align, slide, and twist the locking knob to mount your camera. Those are the traditional way of mounting the quick-release plate which is time-consuming and difficult in the dark. That's why we developed Auto-Lock quick-release ring for Theta, press the QR plate into the gimbal lock and the latch will automatically turn and lock it. Fast and Easy.

Secure Leg-Lock Mechanism

Almost all tripods on the market use flip or twist locks on the joints of the leg and the photographer needs to ensure the leg joints are locked tight enough in case the leg tube slips and the camera falls. Theta's unique self-locking mechanism secures safety. Even if you forget to lock the legs completely, the safety mechanism will automatically lock the legs - keeping it from tipping and ultimately your camera and lens safe.

How can we do that?

We used an extremely accurate, reliable optical matrix sensor and gyroscope to detect the ambient light hence adjusting your camera's parameters automatically, dynamically, and precisely.

Function

A high-quality timelapse video needs a smooth and stable light transition without flickering light disruptions. Theta's optical matrix sensor module can auto-adiust the camera's exposure settings dynamically to get a photo sequence with smooth and consistent exposures.

How can I use It?

Simply mounts the module on the camera's Hot Shoe and realize realtime exposure auto-adiustment via Bluetooth and camera control module connection on Theta app.
