The Ground Plamp is an articulating arm used to hold macro subjects and other useful objects. The stake end is inserted in the ground. The opposing end (with the smaller black clip) grasps the object you wish to hold. Use the Plamp to stabilize windblown subjects, adjust the position or angle of your subject, or move obstructing foliage. You can also use the Plamp to hold reflectors and lens shades. The Ground Plamp can be anchored in a variety of ground types, creating a stable, stand-alone articulating arm. This plamp can also be used as a pole for attaching the clamp style Plamp II. This opens up new creative possibilities and isolates your subject from unwanted vibrations and movements coming from your tripod and camera.
The Ground Plamp consists of two components: the articulating Plamp arm with integrated sheath and the Ground Spike. In our extensive search we found nothing that compared in terms of functionality and effectiveness. The spike has been designed for quick and easy placement without the need of a hammer.
