The XMS500 2-Light Flash Kit provides everything a photographer needs on the road. The kit includes two 500Ws XMS500 flash heads with built-in radio receivers that can be triggered at distances up to 100' with the included wireless transmitter. Each head comes complete with a power cord, flash tube, reflector, and a compact light stand. A Lumiair softbox with 35.4" umbrella are also included and it you can carry it all in the included wheeled bag.
XMS500 Flash Head
The Bowens XMS range is the definitive flash system targeting studio photographers. All XMS units are fully digital, ensuring total accuracy of flash power and colour temperatures. This means less time required for processing images and more time available for creating the perfect picture in camera.
The intuitive digital control panel makes precision control fast and simple and with 8-stops of flash power (adjustable in 1/10th-stop or 1-stop) that can be easily set from a single rotary control dial, the XMS offers photographers the possibility to shoot at high power settings or as low as 5Ws when wide apertures are required, allowing total creative freedom.
For unprecedented lighting control the XMS range is fully compatible with a dedicated 2.4GHz radio remote and trigger system, allowing the photographer to make all necessary adjustments from the camera's position. All XMS units also feature multi-voltage operation (100-230V) for worldwide compatibility: they can be plugged into any mains system on the planet.
Unique design features include an easy-open and quick-lock adjustment latch to make repositioning and fine tuning the angle of your lights as simple as possible. A foldaway stand mount allows for easy-storage and transportation and an innovative and integrated reflector cap enables photographers to shoot straight out of the box.
XMSR Flash Trigger
It's all about control. The new XMSR radio remote control and trigger operates on the global 2.4GHz frequency (including 16 channels and 8 groups) and offers unprecedented control over all features and functions of the XMS flash range.
Designed as a transceiver, the XMSR can be used to fire flash heads, or wirelessly trigger your camera's shutter. Simply attach an XMSR to your hotshoe and press the shutter release to trigger all connecting receiver devices.
Full control over all main features and functions of the XMS is available at the touch of a button, including power, modelling, ready indications as well as creative features such as channel cycling.
The XMSR also includes ground-breaking 'Sync Offset' functionality, enabling photographers to embrace any brand of camera to shoot at high sync speeds up to 1/8000s.

Precision tension ensures the straightest edges delivering the perfect cut-off for fashion and portrait work while the optimum colour calibration of the reflective interior surface together with their shallow construction offer the highest degree of light efficiency.
Add to this two layers of diffusion and you have a completely even spread of light, no more than 1/2 stop from centre to edge, with no distracting hotspots. Each Lumiair softbox comes complete with a simple zip-up carry case to ensure safe and easy transportation to location shoots.
Lumiair professional softboxes include the main canopy, a rear cowell, front diffuser, internal diffuser, and support rods.
Lumiair softboxes will accept our extensive range of ring adapters and so can be used with almost all popular flash systems.
