Atomos Ninja V + AtomX Cast Bundle
The Atomos Ninja V 5" Monitor with AtomX Cast Bundle includes a Ninja V 5" 4K HDMI recording monitor, the AtomX Cast HDMI switcher, and a hard-shell carry case for the Cast. A Cast mini handle, neoprene sleeve case, Master Caddy II, USB Type-C cable, and Ninja V power supply are also included in the package. H.265 adds even more versatility to the Ninja V, by adding a high-quality compressed codec option for recording. H.265 codec is used for the final delivery of high quality video projects with very small file sizes. HEVC was specifically created to provide support for UHD HDR deliverables with wide color gamuts, and enables you to easily share and allow play back of HDR content on a wide range of devices.

The unique AtomHDR engine processes the incoming Log/RAW/HDR signals from your camera or device and displays in all its HDR glory on the Ninja V screen. There are matching profiles for a plethora of cameras, with more added as they emerge. Prefer to work in Rec.709? The Ninja V has you covered with the ability to load custom LUTs to match your workflow.
Wireless Remote Control
The AtomRemote app for iOS and macOS provides external controls for NINJA V, and NINJA V+ with AtomX SYNC module. This app enables filmmakers to perform a range of configuration tasks and operations wirelessly up to 15 meters via Bluetooth LE. Input options include the ability to define how the device connects to the camera, select Gamma/EOTF and adjust Gamut settings. For monitoring, AtomRemote can be used to control playback, select monitoring modes, apply custom 3D LUTs and analysis tools including exposure and focus. Output controls provide options for 4K to HD and LUT preview and HDR output.

ProRes RAW on Canon EOS R5 C and Ninja V
The Ninja V supports recording of ProRes RAW up to 6K at up to 30 fps and 3K at up to 60fps from the Canon R5 C mirrorless camera. The EOS R5 C features a new heat dissipation system allows for extended takes and the most demanding production days.
The efficiencies of ProRes RAW make it possible to playback multiple streams of 8Kp30 ProRes RAW simultaneously. This makes it perfect for multicam projects. The built-in LTC input on the EOS R5 C means that it's also suited for multicamera productions. It can be used with the Atomos UltraSync One, a compact wireless sync device, which can be used to connect and synchronise multiple cameras.
The technology is also compatible with the AtomX SYNC module for the Ninja V/V+. This means you can wirelessly synchronise the EOS R5 C to a range of devices. Coupled with the established Canon EOS lens systems and powerful Servo AF technology, this combination will propel filmmakers to a whole new level in terms of image quality and production value.

AtomX CAST is a modular companion for the Atomos Ninja Vand Ninja V+ monitor-recorder that uses the AtomX expansion port on the Ninja V/V+ to transform it into an advanced multi-input switcher. The combination of the Ninja V and AtomX CAST becomes the Ninja CAST, a fully functional stand-alone switcher, multiview monitor and broadcast quality recorder that does not require a computer to function. With a high quality 5” HDR touchscreen monitor, 4 x HDMI inputs and physical buttons, the Ninja CAST is the ultimate portable live switching and streaming solution.

Simple Switching and Streaming
The flexible control options allow you to use either the touchscreen or the physical buttons to 'switch' between sources when deciding what should be on screen at any one time for broadcast. The illuminated buttons for each input and coloured LED lighting for Program and Preview status allow you to operate the CAST in dimly lit environments.
Easily change from quad view to a single channel view on any of your incoming signals with a tap on the screen. In single view mode, you have access to all the monitor assist tools of the Ninja V/V+, which includes focus peaking, zoom, zebras and more. Tap the screen again and you are back in quad view ready to switch, knowing all your inputs are focused and exposed correctly.

Picture-in-Picture
One of the benefits of using CAST with a multi-camera setup, is that you can use the Picture-in-Picture function to display two inputs at the same time. Any of the four HDMI inputs can be used for a Picture-in-Picture effect over the program output with controls for size and location of the overlayed image. You can display a close-up of a product on your desk and display your face as a picture in picture at the same time, whilst you talk about the product.
Ready for Advanced Workflows
AtomX CAST connected to a Ninja V / V+ is a fully functional stand-alone switcher, but you can also use it with a computer for more advanced video work. In this mode, AtomX CAST and Ninja V does the heavy lifting, taking the load off your computer and reduces the likelihood of software crashes with dedicated external video processing.
Simply add AtomX CAST as a media source in OBS, X-Split and VMix to make use of the software application's additional graphics and scene configuration while using the CAST for video input switching.

Using Ninja CAST with a decent camera and almost any suitable lens gives you a professional broadcasting solution with incredible picture quality. You can set a shallow depth of field and create a cinematic look that is dramatically different from the image you get from your average webcam.
