Convert your Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D to a Wide Angle SHIFT lens. Just like Magic.
The newly released Fujifilm GFX 50S has a sensor slightly larger than the standard 35mm full frame sensor. When full frame Canon/Nikon lenses are used with Fujifilm GFX, there is a possibility that serious vignetting may occur, especially for wide angle lenses.
Laowa's patented 5 elements in 4 groups optics system inside the Laowa Magic Format Converter (MFC) can enlarge the image circle of your Canon / Nikon full frame lens and allow it to use with Fujifilm GFX cameras without vignetting.
The aperture dial on Nikon F/G adapter is designed to provide aperture control for Nikon G-type lenses, which do not have an aperture ring. No such feature on Canon mount.
This adapter has no electronics contact which means that the aperture & auto-focusing of Canon AF lenses may not work.
Image Quality
LAOWA MFC comprises of 5 elements in 4 groups, with 2 Extra Refractive glasses. The optical structure is carefully designed which gives minimal impact on the image quality of our Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D. It will also cancel out some of the chormatic aberrations and distortion of some ultra-wide angle lenses. Our close-to-zero distortion feature can also be retained.
