In the world of digital film production, there is an increasing demand for higher resolution, and SIGMA's new lineup of high-performance lenses is compatible with the latest, high-resolution digital cinema cameras. SIGMA has developed its own production system by establishing the required technology for mass production of high-performance lenses for ultra-mega-pixel shooting.

The 20mm T1.5 is compatible with full frame sensors and, while being more compact, can offer superior resolution than other high-end prime sets do. The lens features a 9-blade iris to produce beautiful bokeh. Ghosting and flaring has been minimized and color reproduction across their entire line of cinema lenses has been standardized for superior color matching and correction.

Each of the Sigma cinema lenses offers a consistent lens gear and 180-degree barrel rotation of the focus wheel. With a smooth, clickless, iris (with markings), dampeners on each gear ring for silent operation, and .8 gear pitch (industry standard), the Sigma 20mm T1.5 lens is a superior lens for film production.
