The Patent Pending GThe Patent Pending G3 Tail attaches to the left camera strap lug. The G3 Tailuses a cam buckle with a unique safety sleeve. Together the cam buckle and safety sleeve provide two levels of security. The cam buckle and safety sleeve insure that your camera can not be accidentally detached from the sling strap, but when you want, your camera can easily, intentionally be detached.

To detach the camera from the BosStrap G3 Tail simply slide the safety sleeve off the cam buckle and release the cam locking lever. All the components in the double safety lock G3 Tail remain with the camera. When the camera is removed from the sling strap, only the low-profile G3 Tail remains attached to the camera. There are no metal parts used in the G3 Tail that could scratch your camera body or the LCD.

When you put a G3 Tail on all your camera bodies, you can switch the BosStrap Sliding Sling from one camera to another.

The G3 Tail will fit cameras with a slot style strap lug (like on Canons) and those with a post style lug and triangular split ring (like on Nikons). The 0.4 oz G3 Tail will easily support 60 pounds.

Ultra Light Hand Band

The G3 Tail can also be used on the right camera lug as an extremely light and effective hand band providing extra security when moving between a tripod and hand held shooting.

The BosStrap G3 Tail can be configured as an Ultra Light Hand Band (ULHB) as shown in the photos. In this configuration, the ULHB attaches to the free right camera strap lug only. The ULHB is completely compatible with any BosStrap. The ULHB attaches only to the strap lug, the tripod socket remain available.

Set up is similar to the G3 Tail, except the small triglide is used to retain excess strap length instead of being used as a keeper for the G3 Tail. The loop is fully adjustable for bare hands or thick gloves. In use, four fingers go through the loop, your thumb does not. The BosStrap Ultra Light Hand Band provides an amazing amount of security with no interference with camera controls.
