It makes the XL-H1 HD camcorder an even more powerful tool for the professional videographer. With CONSOLE software for your XL-H1, you'll feel like you're sitting at the control console of your HD camcorder, in complete command. In addition, most functions of CONSOLE software are compatible with Canon's XL2 digital camcorder.

Functions including gamma, master pedestal, color phase, custom presets and AE metering as well as zoom, focus, white balance, shooting mode and frame rate can be set using CONSOLE. You may also adjust iris and shutter speed in the program, and track and monitor your settings in the XL H1.

Most control room functions, including a wave form and vector display for measuring and adjusting video and phase parameters make it particularly useful in the field.
