Film in
the digital Era: Fearless Photography with Joseph Prezioso
A fun filled day of learning about film in today's world. You will learn about how film compares to
digital and what options it offers to your shooting style. Whether you shoot for yourself, to record
your families moments or even if you shoot professionally at weddings or in
photojournalism, film has many qualities it can bring to your portfolio.
During the seminar Joseph will show you how he works in a digital
era film based workflow, shooting on film and editing in a digital world. He will also discuss the virtues of having
prints made from your images on real photographic paper. Prints bring a real tangible value to your
photos, and you won't need a computer to look at them.
Also during the seminar you will see Joseph’s shooting techniques,
what he shoots and how he edits. There will be a live model shoot, so bring
your camera ready to shoot. Based on availability only, Hunts
may have a few used film cameras available for use that day, if you are looking
to get started.
This is a hands-on session where Joseph will show you how to shoot
and get your desired looks in camera, plus deliverable images without having to
Photoshop them. He will also discuss the
options available with
film cameras, from 35mm to 4x5.
With film you are not restricted to full frame or APS sized sensors. You
are free to use cameras from the past 100 years.
Every attendee will receive:
Two (2) free roll of film; lab processing and a copy of Joseph’s book, Fearless
photographer: Film in the digital era
