This
course is designed to help the aspiring portrait photographer learn the basic
techniques of portraiture. It covers the
standard lighting techniques of Broad and Short side lighting, Rembrandt,
low-key, high key and side (profile) lighting.
We cover the pros and cons of “hot” (continuous) lighting vs. flash
strobe lighting. Using softboxes,
umbrellas and light modifiers, you will learn to control the highlights,
contrast and shadows falling on the subject.
